Three Special Wines from Dragonridge

These three special Dragonridge wines are now available and drinking beautifully. As with all our wines, they are made naturally from our own non irrigated and organically farmed bush vines which produce small quantities of intensely flavoured berries.  These, with great love and care, translate into delicious wines.  Our wines have very low sulphites (one part per million) typical of a natural wine. Most people that enjoy our wine don’t get headaches the next day and often buy our wines for this very reason.  This doesn’t mean you won’t get tiddled of course.

Aquila (named for a constellation in the night sky), was awarded 4 stars in Platter, and combines Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It tastes of Cherries, Cranberries and Black current. Price is R195 per bottle

The Cabernet, which also was awarded 4 stars, fills the mouth with green beans and black current.  Price R195 per bottle

Finally Dark Star, a mature 2011 red, is drinking like pure velvet and is a blend of Mourvedre, Pinotage, Shiraz and Sangiovese. The name Dark Star is in this case not of our galaxy, but a famous song of the Grateful Dead (of which our Yo is a great fan) Price R120 per bottle.
