After School Game Changer workshop at Fynbos Estate

The After School Game Changer Team, a project of the Western Cape government, joined at Fynbos for a writing retreat in preparation for their symposium on after school programs, to be held in June 2019. The team is working to build acknowledgement of the work of after school programs as an important educational intervention – particularly in the lives of learners in under-resourced schools.

As for their experience of Fynbos, this is what they had to say:

It was incredible. It was a space that absorbed people so individuals could meet their goals, but it was also great for plenaries , The food was delicious and the hosting magnificent. It’s been a marvelous stay.
